Wiz Khalifa Talks New Album Cover

Wiz Khalifa recently spoke about his new "Rolling Papers" album cover art and how he feels that his record label fully supports the new artwork, check it out below!

The guys over at Atlantic, you know, they went crazy," Wiz said in an interview referring to his album cover. "They know me, they know my style. They know what my fans wanna see and they know that next level of creativity as well. So you know I wanted it to be...not all just my face right there in front and I wanted certain little elements...I got a huge fan base [that] is ready to hear this album from me. I got a lot of fans who just really wanna see what I'm gonna do musically and and I've been working a long time and building up to this point."

Lupe Says Jay-Z's Word Means More

Lupe Fiasco recently defined what he really tghinks it means to be a success and how he does not sweat trying to impress the media. Lupe says that the mere fact that Jay-Z sees him as a great rapper is more important than a good review.

"So let's look at success is for me. When Jay-Z told me I was nice when I was 19, I was done. That was success for me. I didn't want much. Little kid from the hood who wanted to be a rapper, my idol at the time told me I was nice. I was done. And I used to say that to people, 'Listen, Jay-Z says I'm nice, so I don't need to rap for you. I'm good.' [Laughs.] I don't really care about the five mics, I don't care about the XXL ratings--not the magazines, I mean the ratings. I don't care about Pitchfork's 8.1 or 6.2 or whatever, The Rolling Stone's five stars or four stars. Jay-Z said I was nice, so as a rapper I'm good. And I'm better than you. And I can really rap. And you'll even say that I'm better than you. And just when you think that I'm not...go to sleep!"

J. Cole To Drop New Mixtape, "Villematic"

You can count J. Cole among the fans of Kanye's latest song, "Devil In A New Dress."

In fact, J. Cole is such a fan of the song that it has inspired him to do an entire mixtape, which he has titled Villematic.

"I'm in a zone. Fuck it. I'ma do a mixtape," wrote the Roc Nation signee on his Twitter account (@JColeNC).

"That beat is incredible, shout to Yeezy," Tweeted Cole regarding Kanye's latest offering. "Much Love. Shout to Bink. I could write a million verses to that."

Although no release date has been set for the project, J. Cole leaked an image that will presumably serve as its cover. The image is a play on Illmatic's, with a translucent picture of an infant J. Cole on the old building in his hometown of fayetteville,NC.
